This whisky isn’t crafted with overpowering wood influences, nor is it adorned with peat and smoke. It is an honest whisky whose complexity and texture has evolved with one key ingredient… time! To me, it is a shining example of why Speyside is so highly regarded globally. Even though I have a fondness for peat and cask, there is joy in celebrating the traditional.
