Description
Alvi’s Drift Muscat de Frontignan is an outstanding example of a richly ripe and lush dessert wine. Its bright golden hue reveals already in the glass the late maturity of the grapes used and complex aromas of dried fruits, sweet nutmeg grapes and Christmas plum puddings conquer the nose. The high sugar content of the wine provides for an almost viscous, silky and incredibly decadent mouthfeel. The palate is lined with an abundance of dried apricots and peaches and a creamy nuttiness. A rare and largely undiscovered jewel of the South African wine world, which was only produced in small quantities. This text has been automatically translated.
