Description
Chablis is located roughly halfway between Beaune and Paris, in the northernmost part of Burgundy. Only white wines are made here, and they are all from Chardonnay. These wines stand apart from other white Burgundies, typically leaner, steely, and flintier than those from the Côte de Beaune. The Premier Cru and Grand Cru wines from this region have excellent ageing potential.Pair with sushi platters, goats’ cheese salads and light chicken dishes.
