The aromas are wonderfully restrained at this stage yet are river-bed pure with a sea-salt twist.My goodness, this has a sensational palate! Layers of flavour build, resulting in a multifaceted, incredibly complex and superbly focused wine. The precision here is sublime with fine yellow apple and delicate white peach coming through, yet there is plenty of harnessed power too, all held in check. The energy, vibrancy, purity and freshness is astonishing and suggests that this will keep for decades.
