Made for us by Domaine Rossignol-Trapet, our Own Selection Gevrey-Chambertin is crafted from 100% Pinot Noir, with around 50% whole bunches depending on the vintage. From the far north of the Côte de Nuits, the wine is deeper in colour, firmer in body, and more tannic than most red Burgundy, reflecting the iron-rich soils that help the best examples develop into some of the most long-lived Pinot Noirs. Produced with biodynamic principles in mind, this Gevrey-Chambertin wine combines classic structure with a modern, expressive style.Pair with game meats, root vegetables and pungent cheeses.
