Description
Produced from organically farmed, old-vine Chardonnay in Grand Cru Oger, this cuvée captures one of the most mineral expressions of the Côte des Blancs. Hand harvesting, gravity-fed vinification, spontaneous fermentation and ageing in barrel allow the site’s chalk-rich identity to take centre stage. Aromatically, the wine combines white flowers, white peach and citrus blossom with subtle mineral complexity. The palate is tightly wound yet exceptionally refined, showing layers of ripe lemon, peach skin and chalk. Whilst Oger can often deliver considerable power, here the vineyard’s natural richness is balanced by remarkable precision and a long, coiled finish that slowly unfurls across the palate.Berry Bros. & Rudd
