Description
With just 1 g/L of dosage, the residual sugar here brings the total sweetness closer to 3 g/L. This is produced primarily from a single parcel in Gyé-sur-Seine with a little fruit from Éricey. The vines are between 40 and 50 years old. Bright raspberry, wild strawberry and freshly crushed red berry aromas lead the nose. The palate is supple and gourmand, packed with juicy red fruits and delicate strawberry notes. No oak influence means the fruit remains front and centre. Charming and highly drinkable, this combines generosity with freshness and a finely judged balance. This is long, elegant and irresistibly moreish.Berry Bros. & Rudd
