Description
This is another new cuvée to the range, crafted from grapes grown in the eastern part of Avize. Here, vineyards get the afternoon sun, hence the name “Couchant”. The afternoon sun brings a more solar character to the wine, and ripens grapes earlier. There’s an intense nose of ripe lemon and lovely stone fruits on this fresh, zingy wine. The palate is riper still, with a touch of orange and golden apple too. It has good tension, with fine bubbles: delicious.Berry Bros. & Rudd
