Description
The domaine’s Craipillot parcel was planted in 1943 and 1953; it covers 0.26 hectares. This little-known vineyard is quite flat and sits in the mouth of the Combe de Lavaux. It has velvety dark fruit, with an anise-like freshness that feels almost mentholated. There is 25% whole-bunch here, giving some floral lift and a savoury, saline feel to the finish.Adam Bruntlett, Senior Buyer, Berry Bros. & Rudd
